HOW TO MEASURE
It's important to order the proper garment size the first time so your apparel, duty gear or tactical gear will fit properly. We have supplied the information below to assist you.

For the Chest, Neck, and Sleeve measurements, measure a shirt that fits you well.

Chest
Measure just under the arms, completely around the back and across the broadest part of the chest area. Hold the tape firm and level.

Neck
Lay the collar flat and measure from the center of the collar button to the far end of the button hole. The number of inches equals your size.

Sleeve
Measure from the center of the collar (in the back), across the shoulder and down the sleeve. Number of inches equals sleeve length.
  How to Measure Chart

Waist
Measure around the waist, over shirt (not over pants) at the height you normally wear pants.

Caps & Hats
Measure just above the brow completely around the head. Convert inches to your hat/cap size using the chart below:

Head Size   Hat Size
21-1/2" to 22-1/8"   Small 6-7/8 to 7
22-1/4" to 22-7/8"   Medium 7-1/8 to 7-1/4
23" to 23-5/8"   Large 7-3/8 to 7-1/2
23-3/4" to 24-3/8"   X Large 7-5/8 to 7-3/4

Gloves
Measure around hand and fullest part (exclude thumb). Number of inches equals glove size. Convert inches to your glove size using the chart below.

Hand to Glove Size
8" - 8-1/2"   M
9" - 9-1/2"   L
10" - 10-1/2"   XL
11" - 11-1/2"   2X

Body Armor
Manufacturers often ask for various measurements and size their products differently. Be sure to get the specific measurements required by the manufacturer. While standing, have another person measure your upper body. Use a cloth tape to take the measurements. Wear your standard duty attire when being measured. For an accurate fit, measure the mid-abdominal area (just below the rib cage), the waist, the torso (from the top of the sternum to the top of the duty belt), and the girth (which is the larger of the waist vs. mid-abdominal measurement).
